A box to be treasured

David Klenk supplied me with a jewellery box, to give as a present. By its nature, it’s a box for treasure(s), but there’s more to this piece of woodworking than that. It is a treasure in and of itself - the craftsmanship, design, and fittings are of the highest order. Hooray for the profound goodness of true craft.
